Finish the garage with new interior paint and a professionally coated floor so the entire space would have a complete, coordinated appearance and be ready for everyday use.

Starting Condition
The garage started with an uncoated concrete floor showing visible staining, discoloration, and normal signs of use. The light-colored walls and ceiling were functional but gave the garage a basic, unfinished appearance. Existing control joints divided the large slab into multiple sections.
Preparation
- Cleared and inspected the 667 sq ft garage work area.
- Mechanically diamond-ground the concrete floor to create the proper surface profile for coating.
- Detailed the slab around wall edges, corners, control joints, and fixed utility areas.
- Removed grinding dust and loose surface debris with dust-collection and vacuum equipment.
- Prepared the walls, ceiling, and trim for repainting.
- Protected electrical panels, plumbing, fixtures, and other surfaces outside the work area.
Installation
- Painted the garage walls with SW 7069 Iron Ore in an Eg-Shel/Satin finish.
- Painted the trim with SW 7069 Iron Ore in a Semi-Gloss finish.
- Painted the ceiling with SW 7005 Pure White in a Flat finish.
- Applied a moisture vapor barrier over the prepared concrete slab.
- Applied a light grey base coat.
- Broadcast Tidal Wave decorative flake across the floor to create a uniform full-flake finish.
- Removed loose excess flake and sealed the system with a protective clear topcoat.
- Completed final detailing and inspected the finished floor and painted surfaces.
